Teacher Interviews

Hanoi Westminster School was kind to invite me to tour and observe a STEM class. This school has truly thought about how their building can be used to create and share learning. Their STEM class was a combination of movement, listening, and creativity. Students were challenged to build, test, and rework their ideas. Students used 21st century skills, like collaboration, creativity, and communication to complete their challenge.

I was able to visit with a teacher at the Canadian International School in Saigon. I was impressed with the facilities and support given to the teachers in terms of materials and trainings. I met with Michele Davis, who teaches high school classes at the school. Students in her classes all have their own computers and are able to navigate online work through their LMS and complete tasks creatively. Michele was very complimentary of the school and students work ethic.

Through Facebook groups I was able to meet Dại Cỏ who runs an English coffee shop where locals can come and practice their English skills. She was able to facilitate a tour of a couple of Kindergartens in Pleiku, including one that focuses on STEM.
